It helps control the hormone levels that cause an egg to release from the ovaries (prevents premature ovulation). Cetrorelix is administered by SubQ injection (just below the skin).
Nausea; headache; or pain, redness, irritation, and itching at the injection site may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. Branded as <B>Antagon®</B> and <B>Orgalutran®</B> by Organon.<BR><BR>Ganirelix is used as a fertility medicine to prevent premature luteinizing hormone (LH) surges in women undergoing the fertility procedure of controlled ovarian hyperstimulation. LH is involved in ovulation, which is the development of eggs in the ovaries. Ganirelix may help reduce the need for follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) , which is also involved in ovulation.<BR><BR>Ganirelix is administered by SubQ injection just (below the skin).
